The primary purpose of GreenStart is to provide a countywide recycling program to create jobs for individuals, who have been recently released from incarceration and residing in transitional housing. The recycling program provides for a sincere opportunity for the individuals to learn and apply new skills, earn money, improve their long-term job prospects, and make a real difference in the community.

Transitional Housing
Another major service for our organization is to empower men and women whose lives have been impacted by crime with the necessary essentials they will need to have a smooth transition into law abiding productive citizens. Upon graduation from the program, they receive assistance in finding permanent housing.
